TUNISIA: BIKE TREK FROM EL KHANTAOUI TO JOHANNESBURG

TUNIS - A bike-ride circumnavigating Africa, from El Khantaoui (off the central coast of Tunisia, close to Sousse) to Johannesburg (South Africa), covering some 12,000 kilometres, was initiated last Saturday by two young Tunisians from Zeramdine, a town located in the governorate of Monastir. The two men, Montasser Zaghouan and Mourad Gzaiel, will enter Libya at the end of the week and will continue their trek in the direction of South Africa. No arrival date has been scheduled for this event, the first of its kind on the African continent.
