Hab's auf dem HUBB gefunden und dachte, dass es hier eventuell auch jemanden interessieren koennte:

Obwohl es nicht scheint, dass es sich hier um eine dieser "Wohltaetigkeitsrallyes" handelt - es kommt mir etwas der Verdacht auf, dass man sich auch hier vor dem Entschluss zur Teilnahme ein paar weitergehende Gedanken machen muss.

Wenigstens geht die Seite so weit, den Teilnehmer ueber "weitere Kosten" aufzuklaeren. Visa zB. sind in der Teilnahmegebuehr nicht enthalten (was bei einer Veranstaltung, die angeblich die Unterstuetzung der Algerischen Behoerden geniesst etwas verwirrend ist).

Bestechungsgelder sind gleich mitgelistet.

Der Rueckflug vonBenin nach Europa ist auch aufgefuehrt. Aber keiner laesst sich ueber die Rueckfuehrung des Fahrzeuges aus...

Hab da auch schon bissl dort rumgeschmökert (war glaube im Buschtaxi gepostet). Die Route ist bei der derzeitigen Lage durchaus interessant.

Man sollte sie vieleicht als Suizid Ralley bezeichnen.

Sie führt genau dort entlang, wo es viele "Hotspots" gibt. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass diese Route genehmigt wird.

The Trans Sahara Rally is absolutely unique of its kind. This is the only rally being organized on this route.

Was sie dort u.U. erleben können, dürfte das "Unexpected" nochmals übertreffen.
