Rabat (Morocco) - Another group of 16 Sahrawis has escaped from the Polisario Front camps in south-western Algeria to go to Morocco and back the “Moroccanness” of Western Sahara, which has been under Morocco’s sovereignty since late 1975. According to the latest figures released on Monday by the Moroccan authorities, 503 Sahrawis have so far fled to Morocco since 25 March 2010. Polisario police chief favours Sahara autonomy proposal

The top police official in Polisario-controlled Tindouf is lending his support to Morocco's proposal to grant autonomy to Western Sahara within the context of extended regionalisation.

At a press conference Monday (August 9th) in Smara, Western Sahara, Police Inspector-General Mustapha Salma Ould Sidi Mouloud said that the proposed initiative to give extensive autonomy to the Sahrawis was the best possible solution to the Western Sahara conflict.

Guderian as staff officer, as well as field commander in the trenches, made very good use of all the accounts made of the various -and strangely enough not as rare as one might think- mobile operations in the Western front during the Great War.
