wer hat ähnliche Erfahrzungen mit diesen "legendären" loadplus Zusatzfedern genmacht, wie ich sie machen durfte?
Habe mich jetzt direkt an ironman gewandt und stoße nur auf verschlossene Türen. Keine Spur von Kulanz oder sowas.
Innerhalb drei Jahre habe ich 4 (vier!) gebrochene LP4 gehabt. Diese sind für einen HJ60 laut einschlägigem Fachhändler die richtige Wahl. Ironman selbst schlägt aber komnischerweise LP9 vor.
Scheinbar sind diese "Spielereien" nur für einen Offroadpark am Wochenende oder bessere Feldwege geeignet. Auf Afrikas ausgefahrenen Pisten, die oft noch mit Wellblech ausgestattet sind, sind sie jedenfalls nicht geeignet. Im Durchschnitt ist mir alle 3.500 km eine solche Zusatzfeder gebrochen. Falsch montieren kann man sie nicht. Die Aussage des Händlers lautet lapidar: "Außergewöhnliche Belastung!!" -grins grins- Für die Asphaltstraße brauche ich sie nicht.
Und warum bricht nur die Zusatzfeder und nicht die normalen?

Das will ich niemanden vorenthalten. Also demnach steht nirgends, dass loadplus für den offroad Gebrauch geeignet ist. siehe Orginaltext:

Please also understand that should the failure occur within the warranted
period, Ironman and its distributors will happily replace or repair any
failure. But if the failure occurs outside the 2 Year Warranty period,

distributors are independent companies and cannot fund replacement from
another distributor.
As for the future for your vehicle. May I suggest you to obtain a
replacement Leaf Spring which is rated to carry your specified load. In 4x4
vehicles, Ironman always recommend to have the closest possible optimum
spring to suit your requirements. If you need adjustability or slight aid,
the Load Plus or other helper spring can be used."
