Turkey/Security: 20 suspected members of Al-Qaeda arrested in Adana

At least 20 people suspected of belonging to an armed wing of Al-Qaeda has been arrested by Turkish police on Monday after raiding several places in Adana in southern Turkey, the Anatolia news agency reported.

Reportedly, at 06:00 am (04:00 GMT), 300 officers of antiterrorist units of the police in Adana simultaneously raided 25 different locations in the city and arrested 20 people. In an hour long search, police recovered a cache of arms and ammunition and computer equipment pertaining to terrorist activities, the news agency said.

Istanbul (dpa) - Die türkische Polizei hat bei einer Groß-Razzia 120 Terror-Verdächtige festgenommen.

Wie die Nachrichtenagentur Anadolu meldete, begann der landesweite Einsatz in den frühen
Morgenstunden. Die Festgenommenen sollen mutmaßliche El- Kaida- Mitglieder sein. Erst am
