New York / Morocco Board News Service---- How Morocco found itself trapped in the [Western] Sahara problem? A feat unfortunately little known to Moroccans. The Makhzen (Moroccan Government) made a mistake in neglecting -at best, if it’s not simply betrayal- the Moroccan Liberation Army. If the Abdellah Ibrahim government (First-Post-Independance Moroccan prime minister) had its way, that is, if the MLA commanders got the support they were requesting, this whole ( Western Sahara) shebang wouldn’t happen. But of course, History cannot be re-written, but we should learn from it; The claim is justified, but if truth should be told, the patriot is when s/he is fully aware of the country's history...
