Mindestens vier Tote bei Erdbeben in Algerien

Algier (APA/ag.) - Bei einem schweren Erdbeben sind am Montag im Norden Algeriens mindestens vier Menschen ums Leben gekommen. Mindestens 53 Menschen wurden verletzt. Die Opfer stammten aus dem 320 Kilometer östlich von Algier gelegenen Ort Laalam in der Region Kherrata. Laut algerischem geopysischen Institut erschütterten die Erdstöße gegen 20.44 Uhr die Region mit einer Stärke von 5,8 auf der Richterskala .......

EARTHQUAKE: 4.5-MAGNITUDE QUAKE IN WEST ALGERIA

ALGIERS An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 on the Richter scale was registered this morning in the west of Algeria near Relizane, 300km west of Algiers. The news was announced by the Algerian Research Centre in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics (CRAAG). The first quake was felt this morning at 6.42h local time, and a second of 4.2 on the Richter scale. No casualties or material damage have been reported.

ALGIERS - An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale hit the Ain Defla region, 250km west of Algiers, this morning at 8.30. So announced by the Centre for Research in Astronomy, Astrophysics, and Geophysics (CRAAG) and quoted by APS, which specified that the epicenter of the quake was located 11 km north-east of El Abadia, close to Ain Defla. There are no reports on injuries, nor damage.
