Das Projekt war beinahe zum Stillstand gekommen. Dann hat sich aber ein Chinesischer Investor gefunden und nun geht es wieder zuegig voran. Der Damm soll nicht nur zur energiegewinnung dienen sondern auch zur Trinkwasserversorgung der Bevoelkerung.

Das hat viel Konfliktpotential mit Aegypten.
