Rebels in Senegal have killed six soldiers in the south of the country, the military says. The attack occurred in the Casamance region, which has a long history of separatist violence. The soldiers were killed by a rocket-propelled grenade after their vehicle became stuck in mud near the border with Guinea-Bissau, the army says.
