TUNISIA: WW2 SHELL EXPLODES KILLING ONE AND WOUNDING ANOTHER

TUNIS - A World War Two shell has exploded in the agricultural area of Ouled Chamek in Tunisia, killing one person and injuring another. The explosion happened when the victim, a 28-year-old man, tried to disarm the shell's fuse. The blast also injured a relative of the victim. Local press say that there are still relatively large number of leftover bombs in central, rural areas of Tunisia and that numerous accidents take place every year, sometimes resulting in deaths.
