Two Malian colonels supplied Al Para with arms
Algeria seeks information on Al Para from Mali and Germany governments

Algerian justice has submitted an official request to the Malian and German governments in order to hear the nationals and arms smugglers involved in terror affairs having links with former GSPC leader in the Sahara Amari Saifi known of foreigner tourists’ abduction.
An official source unveiled to El Khabar that the examining magistrate has addressed a rogatory letter to the German judiciary seeking the hearing of 16 German nationals, among 32 tourists kidnapped by Al Para in the Algerian Sahara in 2003.
According to the same source, the rogatory letter mentions that Algeria wants that these tourists tells the characteristics of the abductors and the means of transport used as well as the arms in their possession.
As for the rogatory commission addressed to the Malian government, it seeks specific information about seven people involved in the supply by arms of Amari Saifi. The official source indicated that the list includes 2 colonels in the Malian army.
